First Response Service

The First Response Service (FRS) is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for anyone experiencing a mental health crisis. This service offers immediate support, advice, and access to urgent care if needed.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, distressed, or experiencing thoughts of self-harm, you can call the First Response Service directly on 0800 952 1181. A trained mental health professional will listen, provide guidance, and, where necessary, arrange further support or treatment.

The service is open to people of all ages and ensures that help is available when it is needed most. Whether it is for you, a family member, or someone you care for, the First Response Service is there to provide reassurance and urgent assistance.
